I just saw a two-car que at the mailbox. The woman in the first car, which was parked in front of the mailboxes, was writing out the checks that had to be mailed.
The woman in the second car had to climb out into the slush to mail her items. She didn't look excited.

Please take note that pedestrian traffic now can not use these 'new' mail boxes. Unless of course one challenges the vehicles lined up behind the SUV portable offices! Our Federal tax dollars at work. Pedestrians now have to actually enter the Post office, chancing the comparison of the wall posters of the most wanted to your visit. Homeland security in effect?
That is why I ALWAYS try to avoid suspicion by wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap pulled tightly down on my brow whenever I enter post offices or banks.
