I'm going with Katy's win ... as Mary writes over at the Newburyport Blog, I'm still processing it (and so is she).
Gotta be Gary Roberts; I was worried that it was Hutch on the bubble, not Roberts. The City has lost one of the brightest, most honest and most truthful public servants; I'm hopeful that he chooses to stay involved in public dialogue over the next two years- Task Forces, City Boards and Commissions. A huge loss at a critical time.
Anyone who spent ten minutes with Katy came away convinced she was lightning in a bottle and the cap was ready to pop.
All in all, I think that Newburyport wins- we have a group of hard-working, pragmatic newcomers to help build consensual solutions to municipal problems.
