Thank You

Lost in all this discussion is an official thank you to Steve Karp for coming up and city officials--including Mayor Moak--for orchestrating the visit.

Here's the Daily News' pregame piece.

It's a nice start. Let's keep it positive.

Tom Salemi's Background

I lived and worked up here in 1990s. Life and career led me away for a while but I’m very thankful both allowed me to return. A little background, I grew up in Revere. Went to BU. Worked as a reporter at a few newspapers before landing at The Daily News. I moved on from here. I married quite well, and we have two great kids. I kept writing. No more fires or city council meetings. Now I write for a magazine. It's interesting stuff, but I still have a hankering to write about this place. So I do. I also sit on the Newburyport Redevelopment Authority.
