I may move it over to the side column in a day or so, kind of scary.
Anyway, I thought our discussion about the downtown lent itself to a poll question. I initially contemplated a question that asked you to identify whether you bought items at the mall, online or downtown. But I thought this the simplest way to go.
Reminder. You can cast more than one vote from different locations (work vs. home for example.) But why would you?

Tom,
Despite the fact that I cannot find in our downtown a pair of cheap jeans, shoes, or the Ipod Nano I was going to buy you, Tom, for Christmas, I am a frequent flyer at our bookstores and Jabberwocky.

I was going to buy Tom a Iphone and a Porsche, but they don't sell those downtown either.
I was able to find a ball of string at Richdale and a couple of tin cans on the street, though. Its the thought that counts.
Must I remind you gentlemen that this blogger simply cannot accept gifts from public officials.
hey, writing with your fingers crossed isn't that hard afterall.
Seriously, perhaps it's time I blow the dust off the tired old Newspaper column cliche and bestow Christmas wishes upon or city officials.
Ed, shall I put you down for a power plant? James, would you like the parking garage or a set of high tech parking meters.
Who ordered the override? Anyone? Anyone want the override?
Dibs on the high tech parking meters! They make great stocking stuffers.
It would be greedy of me to take the over ride. I am sure there is a deserving soul on the School Committee whose holiday would be cheered up by that one.
