I don't fish, but I'd like to someday. Looks like a lot of fun.
Any thoughts on this practice? Is it done around here? Seems a bit inhumane to the fish simply because they're forced to pass led weights through their intestines.
When I was growing up, I would spend countless hours fishing local streams and ponds. I also would fish in Narragansett Bay or off Cape Cod. Haven't been fishing in a few years, though. Anyway, I never used the yo-yo technique to catch fish. Does seem rather cruel to me, and the last thing we need are our fishing stocks swimming around with lead in their bellies. There are plenty of lures out their that serve the same purpose.
