Beer

This simply might be the greatest thing written in the Daily News ever.

Heard this was coming down the pike, but nice to see some meat to the story. Great building for a brew pub. I suspect it'll be huge.

Tom Salemi's Background

I lived and worked up here in 1990s. Life and career led me away for a while but I’m very thankful both allowed me to return. A little background, I grew up in Revere. Went to BU. Worked as a reporter at a few newspapers before landing at The Daily News. I moved on from here. I married quite well, and we have two great kids. I kept writing. No more fires or city council meetings. Now I write for a magazine. It's interesting stuff, but I still have a hankering to write about this place. So I do. I also sit on the Newburyport Redevelopment Authority.
