Great Insights

Great blog post by Mary Baker today. Not pushing it as a Pro-LHD tome but rather something that presents  the resentment many folks still feel out there.

Unfortunately, the anger or resentment seems to be aimed at newbies like myself. But I did nothing to cause their pain so it's a bit misdirected.

Bottom line though, urban renewal destroyed as well as created. That's something that doesn't get a lot of play in blogs like this, and it should.

agreed, great insights. I wish however that Mary didn't accuse everyone that disagrees with her of being "tea party folks". We get that she is a liberal, but I'm not and I support the LHD. She's quite closed minded when it comes to people with other political beliefs.

Fair point, anonymous. I do think the LHD issue isn't necessarily party specific.

Yup, I agree Tom, I know that the LHD is non-partisan, because I know all sorts of folks, conservative, liberal, libertarian, independent, yes and even a couple of Tea Party people, folks from all over the political spectrum who are for the LHD.
