A glimpse of Panera

Found this on the InterWeb. It's what we have to look forward to on Route 113.

THe link appears to be an ad for the space in question, has there been any conformation Panera is moving in.

I haven't heard otherwise. It's how the project has been described.

Bring back Timmy Meehan's House of Beef! I worked the broiler there in high school and got my first taste of Patsy Whalen's Harvest Home. If we're going to put another chain restaurant there go with Bertucci's. The ABC would have to grant another liquor license as I'm pretty sure Wing sold it when the Jade closed.

I am 100% in favor of any establishment sporting the words House, of, Beef.

A decade or so ago, Boston Chicken was rumored to be going on Storey Ave and Legal Seafoods was going to open a restaurant at the Captain's Quarters (now the Black Cow.)

I love restaurant rumors.

But Bertucci's? Really? More Pizza?

The owner of the Ming Jade retired. Not sure if anyone from the family was interested in taking over. But without him, the restaurant closed. Never remembered Timmy Meehan's House of Beef... probably a bit young to remember.

Miss the Ming Jade. Never been to Panera Bread.
