Hypocrite!

There I said it. Beat you to the punch. No, I couldn't make last night's meeting on the senior center so I missed the presentation of every option. Apologies for that, but I do what I can.

I have some thoughts on the Daily News article, but I'll save them for later as I've got a ton of work to do. Civil eyewitness accounts of the meeting would be most welcome.

Thanks.

It was a very good meeting with a lot of agreement that a modified Plan A (Mr. Rizzo had one in the can) keeping the basketball court was the prefered way to go.

Ed Cameron can give a more detailed report.

Tom,

It went really well - no yelling, screaming or anger at all. Lots of laughter, in fact. As I said on the other post, pretty much everyone hated Plan E but liked Plan A, with a modification to make the building even closer to the street and tucked more into the Washington St. corner. Everyone wants to keep the basketball court.

It was a good meeting with a good cross-section of the public in attendance.

Tom, I am throwing down the gauntlet and challenging you to a game of one-on-one at Cushing Park in celebration of Plan E getting nixed! Bring your A-game!
